Melina Chalkia is a multimedia journalist from Greece, currently based in New York. Melina graduated with a Bachelor's in Journalism and International Studies from Northwestern University. She has previously worked with Bloomberg News, CNN, NBC and Scripps News, as a reporter, producer and newsgatherer. She's passionate about international affairs and broadcast journalism. Melina is currently a freelance correspondent for New Greek TV. She believes in the power of journalism to uphold the truth and give voice to those who cannot be heard.
