In a partnership between Medill and WTTW - Chicago's PBS station - Melina and her team produced a long-from package on the racial disparities in foster in Cook County, Illinois. Melina worked with her two team memberships in interviewing, shooting and editing the story, which aired on WTTW's show "Chicago Tonight."
